I started CreatorShift because I was fortunate enough to have someone show me that success doesn’t only come from a traditional 9–5 even when that 9–5 pays well.
For a long time, I thought the only real option was to work hard, move up, and stay in that cycle for decades. That’s what most people are taught. And for a some, it works.
But once I saw that ownership and building something of your own were real options not just ideas people talk about online, I couldn’t ignore it.
I Saw the Truth
I was raised around entrepreneurs. I saw people who owned businesses instead of working traditional jobs. From the outside, it looked like freedom and in many ways, it was.
But I also saw something most people don’t talk about.
A lot of those business owners were still trading their time directly for dollars. They had ownership, but they didn’t always have leverage. If they stopped working, the income slowed down or stopped.
That showed me early on that:
There’s a difference between owning a business and building something that actually gives you options.
I didn’t just want to escape a job.
I wanted to understand how to build something that wasn’t completely dependent on my time to survive.
What Actually Changed for Me
I didn’t wake up one day with a master plan. I didn’t quit my job overnight. My perspective simply expanded.
I learned that you don’t have to choose between being responsible and building something of your own. You can do both if you have the right guidance and a clear process.
That shifted how I looked at my skills, my time, and my future.
Instead of asking,
“How do I move up?”
I started asking,
“What can I do with all this time I'm dedicating to my job?”
"What can I do in 40 hours that would give me a stable income, that I wouldn't dread doing."
Entreprenuerial Education
I don’t pretend to have done this for decades. I learned by investing in coaching and mentorship from people who have actually built real businesses and real systems.
I’ve learned from leaders like Myron Golden, Russell Brunson, and Eddie Austin — people who showed me that success outside of a job isn’t theoretical, it’s structured.
I’m still learning. I’m still building. And I’m still refining what actually works in the real world.
Why I Started CreatorShift
Once I realized there were real alternatives to trading my time for a paycheck forever, I started noticing how many capable, high-earning people around me felt the same tension I did.
They were doing well financially but they felt boxed in by a path that no longer fit them.
I didn’t start CreatorShift because I had everything figured out.
I started it because I didn’t want to be the only one who got shown another option.
I wanted to give other people the same perspective shift I was given along with a practical way forward.
